No baby yet - 39 weeks

Well we had another doctor's appointment today. I'm at 39 weeks, 4 days. I'm guessing this baby is not coming before Easter. The doc said the cervix is closed and still pretty high. So no real progress yet! Dang, guess those contractions haven't made any difference!! My blood pressure is still good, and the placenta is still functioning well so we're healthy enough to go overdue. I'm not real anxious to be induced and would like to try to get this little guy to come out on his own. So the next few days we'll be walking!! Trying to get things started!! Wish me luck. Next doctor's appointment is Easter Sunday 9am (go figure?!).
