It was a small occasion, but we couldn't skip celebrating our baby's first birthday! So I hadn't planned well, and the only cake in the pantry was pink! HA. So to make up for the pink cake I decided it must have BLUE icing! Extreme Blue Icing. Not thinking about the blue mess it might create after!

At age 1, Alex has about 5 teeth. Three on bottom, and two on top. He's a funny kid. We call him trouble, because he is into everything. Pulling drawers open, flying up the stairs, and making a mess of everything. Way more than Aidan was at this age. He's taking his time learning to walk, and that may not be a bad thing. HA! He is a sweet boy too. Loves to jabber back at you when you talk to him. His first words were "Jack Jack", and of course "Dada". And was early to figure out the use of "uh-oh"!! Probably a sign of things to come. : )
We love you big guy! You have been a perfect addition to our family! Our life is so much better with you in it! Happy 1st Birthday Sweet Pea!
