All is well at the start of the 4 month!!

I can breath a sigh of relief. We are healthy!!! Wooo hoo! I am so excited & relieved. My blood pressure was on the high end of normal, but only because I was so nervous & wound up before my appointment. My weight has stayed the same, which was also great to hear. (I'm trying hard to watch it & stay healthy!) My blood test results all came back good! And, finally, for the first time in my life, I know my blood type. I'm O+ (o positive) for your info. PHEW!! We're healthy so far!!

I didn't expect to get to see the tadpole, but Dr. Voss gave us another ultrasound today. We were able to see the little one's head, body, 2 legs, 2 arms (one was hiding for awhile). Even the stomach, bladder.... brain development and the little spine forming... It was pretty amazing. The little heart was beating away too. Chris and his imagery skills claims he was able to count out 10 fingers & 10 toes. Tadpole seemed to be doing a little dance in there, but we got a couple pics of him/her. Still looks like a little alien for the most part :-) Click on it to see it bigger.

I should let you know that you cannot see ALL the body parts in this pic, but in the Dr's office we were able to see everything moving and wiggling from different angles....

My next appointment will be Oct 24th for some female exams, no ultrasound. The following appointment is Nov 20th for an ultrasound and we might get to see what sex the little dude is, just in time for Thanksgiving! ...That will be exciting!
